Events, not spin
Unspun is a working title for an event-first news site. We state what happened, cite outlets across left, right, center, and wire services, and visibly label speculation. We do not republish full copyrighted articles — only short summaries in our own words.

Methodology
1. Event first
Lead with who / what / when / where. Separate confirmed actions from motives, forecasts, and opinion.
2. Multi-spectrum sources
Prefer wires and primary documents, then pair coverage from different editorial leanings so readers can see the landscape.
3. Speculation labeled
Anonymous claims, market forecasts, and partisan conclusions get a clear “Speculation” badge — never mixed silently into the fact narrative.
4. Status badges
Stories are marked confirmed, developing, disputed, or — on the Entertainment desk — unconfirmed / rumor when claims are still circulating without confirmation.
5. Bias check
Each article includes a Bias check on framing and source mix — level, tilt, and short notes — so readers can see how we judged slant in the rewrite.
Entertainment
Entertainment covers real trending gossip and entertainment news. Confirmed facts vs circulating speculation are clearly labeled. Nothing fabricated — no invented stage names, unnamed A-lister fiction, or made-up plots presented as coverage. When a claim is rumor or unverified, we say so out loud.

What we will not do
- Copy full article text from other publishers.
- Use leaning labels as pejorative “trust scores.”
- Present analysis, advocacy, or gossip as settled fact.
- Fabricate celebrity stories or invent stage-name plots.
- Scrape copyrighted paparazzi photos of identifiable people.
Pipeline (coming)
A future ingest flow will fetch public RSS/endpoints, extract facts, rewrite neutrally, cite spectrum sources, flag speculation, write JSON, and rebuild the static site for Cloudflare Pages. Until then, treat every story as illustrative.
