Summary

The Event Log is an event-first news publication. We do not require an account to read. There is no personalization algorithm ranking what you see. We do not sell your personal information.

Website

When you visit this site, your browser makes ordinary requests for pages, images, and fonts. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) may process standard server and CDN logs (such as IP address, user agent, and request URL) to operate and secure the service. We do not run a separate advertising network on the site as part of this policy’s baseline. If that changes, we will update this page.

iOS / macOS app

The official app displays this site in a native WebView. The app shell itself does not create accounts or embed a separate advertising SDK. Loading the live site through the app is similar to opening it in Safari: the same page requests apply. A small offline screen may appear if the network is unavailable. The system Share sheet, if you use it, is handled by Apple’s OS — we do not receive who you shared with.

Links

In-app navigation stays in the WebView when possible. Some external destinations may open in the system browser.

Children

The Event Log is general-audience news. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when the site or app changes. The date at the top will be revised.
