Model Barbara Palvin and actor Dylan Sprouse announced Monday on Instagram that they have welcomed their first child, a baby girl, captioning the post, “We took Labor Day literally this year.” Page Six (opens in new tab) reported the baby was born Sept. 7, which was Labor Day; Vogue (opens in new tab) said the birth was on or around that date.
Palvin, 32, posted a photo of herself, Sprouse, 34, and the newborn in Los Angeles Dodgers jerseys, Page Six (opens in new tab) reported. The couple revealed the pregnancy in May, with Palvin showing a bump at Cannes, and confirmed they were expecting a girl on Sprouse’s “Wildmen” podcast in July.
Palvin and Sprouse have been together since 2018, became engaged in 2022, and married in Hungary in July 2023. Palvin has spoken publicly about living with endometriosis.
The baby’s name was not disclosed in Monday’s post.
